An argument between a man and a woman yesterday (Mon) evening has resulted in charges being laid against an Echo Bay man.

At about 8 o'clock last night, a man went to a home to return some property to a woman. A disagreement ensued and an altercation resulted between the two people. The man is alleged to have damaged the woman's car right after the incident.

Thirty-eight year old Rodney Hunter of Echo Bay was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm and mischief under five thousand dollars.

The woman did not require medical attention.
