Oil Leak Leads to Drug Seizure

A vehicle with a visible oil leak was stopped on Hwy#17 in Garden River yesterday at approximately 12:30 p.m. The vigilant officer observed a hash pipe between the drivers seat. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of 24 pills believed to be ecstasy, approximately 3 grams of hash and 58.5 grams of Marijuana. Charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance Contrary to section 4(1) of Controlled Drugs and Substance Act, are Tommy Dube age 20 and Michel Zewski age 25 of Trois Riviers Quebec. Both men were released on a recognizance with a cash deposit to appear in court in Sault Ste Marie on October 16th.
