Unwated Persons Call Leads To Several Charges The East Algoma OPP has charged a local female with several charges stemming from an unwanted persons call. On May 29th, 2006 at approximately 9:40 a.m. police were called to attend a local agency.

The East Algoma OPP has charged a local female with several charges stemming from an unwanted persons call.

On May 29th, 2006 at approximately 9:40 a.m. police were called to attend a local agency. On scene police learned that the suspect had attended the agency in an agitated state of mind. Workers noted the female to have in her possession a knife. After speaking with workers, the suspect left the area prior to police arrival.

Police at the corner of Highway 108 and Manitoba Rd located the suspect.

Further investigation revealed that a tire of a vehicle belonging to a worker at the agency had been slashed and the 40-year-old female was a suspect.

Charged with the following is Sandra Lynn BURBELLA (40) of Elliot Lake

Breach of Probation (X2)
Breach of Recognizance
Mischief Under
Weapons Dangerous

BURBELLA is remanded into custody awaiting a bail hearing.
