Antique Wood Stove Stolen from Homeowner

Goulais River, Ont.,It appears that thieves in the Goulais River area are getting more and more ambitious this summer.

A seasonal homeowner on Grant Road in Goulais River reported to Sault Ste Marie OPP that thieves have stolen an antique wood stove from his seasonal home. The victim reports that sometime in the past three weeks the suspects entered the house and took the wood stove. An antique wood stove is not something that typically fits in the trunk of a car or something that you can sneak through the bush without being noticed.

If you know who took this antique wood stove, a call to Crime Stoppers or to the OPP would “warm the heart” of this homeowner.
