A.T.V. COLLISON SENDS 14 YEAR OLD TO HOSPITAL
Heyden, Ont.,

A late afternoon collision between an all terrain vehicle and a pick up truck sent a 14 year old Heyden youth to Sault Area Hospital.

At about 5:00 p.m. yesterday, the youth was operating a three wheel A.T.V. at the intersection of Cameron and Lawlor Roads in Heyden. The investigation, so far, has indicated that the A.T.V. ran into the side of a pick up truck that was being operated on Cameron Rd.

The young boy was admitted to Sault Area Hospital with possible broken bones. Police have not been able to speak to the young man and therefore have been unable to complete their investigation. The name of the youth will not be released because Sault Ste Marie OPP anticipate laying charges against the youth and the owner of the all terrain vehicle.

The investigation will continue today as officers attempt to speak to the youth and other witnesses involved in the collision. No one in the pick up truck was injured in this incident
