PLEASE DON’T PARK THERE; THEY HAVE TO GET TURNED AROUND!!

School bus drivers, snowplough drivers and the OPP are asking motorists to take two extra seconds to look around and realize just where it is you are parking.

The out lying areas surrounding Sault Ste Marie have numerous large plowed out areas specifically designed for snowplow and school bus turn-a-round’s. Many outdoor recreation enthusiasts look at these areas and interpret the ploughed areas as a proposed parking lot where they can leave their vehicles while enjoying the great outdoors.

These area’s where built so these longer and wider vehicles can safely get turned around and either keep the roadways clear of snow or get the precious cargo of our children safely to our homes and schools.

After you return from your adventure in Ontario’s winter wonderland, the last thing you want to find upon your return to the roadway is your vehicle towed away or a ticket on your windshield.
