On February 4, 2002 at approx. 8:45 p.m. the Sault OPP responded to an assault complaint in the Heyden area approx. 10 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie.

The complainant, who had left the residence, suffered minor injuries but did not require medical treatment.

Attempt by officers to locate the suspect, who is well known to officers, were unsuccessful.

A first instance warrant will be issued for the suspect, and once obtained, a further press release may be issued.
