SPILLED DIESEL FUEL
The Sault detachment of the O.P.P. received a report of a tractor-trailer on the Mile Hill with a broken fuel line at about 11:30 last night. Approximately 100 litres of fuel had spilled onto the highway resulting in very slippery road conditions. The Aweres Fire Department and the Ministry of Transportation were on scene to assist with the cleanup. The highway was closed for about ten minutes while sand was spread. The Ministry of the Environment was also notified.
