STOLEN FIREWOOD Echo Bay, Ont., Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. officers are investigating the theft of firewood from an Echo Bay residence on Government Road. Yesterday morning the owner of the house left his home for a short period.

Sault Ste. Marie O.P.P. officers are investigating the theft of firewood from an Echo Bay residence on Government Road.

Yesterday morning the owner of the house left his home for a short period. When he returned he discovered that someone had entered his property and stolen about one quarter of a cord of firewood.

Be aware who is and who should be in and around your neighbourhood. If you see anyone in your neighbourhood who looks or is acting suspicious call the police right away.
