MINOR INJURIES FROM HOUSE FIRE

The Aweres Twp Fire and Rescue attended at a mobile home fire yesterday morning.

At about 8:00 a.m., the Aweres Twp Fire Department received a call about the house fire in Rupert Acres Trailer Park, just north of Sault Ste. Marie. The structure was saved but the interior of the home was totally destroyed.

The lone male occupant of the home, 55 year old Paul Favretto, was taken to Sault Area Hospital with burns to his back and arms.

The fire department investigation is indicating that the fire originated in the area of the furnace. The home was not insured and most of the contents could not be salvaged.
