One person faces impaired driving charges after East Algoma OPP responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver on Highway 17 near Iron Bridge.

The suspect vehicle was located in Thessalon a short time later. The driver was arrested and charged following a traffic stop, says a news release issued by OPP.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
