Batchawana First Nation Police are continuing their investigation into the damage that a group of about 10 youths caused on Tuesday night.

The First Nation police service has discovered that several vehicles throughout the territory were damaged. Some had their windows smashed out and others had the paint scratched.

About 150 members of the territory attended a community meeting last night that focused on the activities that this group of youths have been undertaking over the summer months. A bail hearing will be held this afternoon for five of the youths that were charged during the incident.

There was only one minor incident of name calling on the territory overnight. Police attended a home where a minor verbal argument occurred. There was no violence, damage and no charges in this incident.
