Members of the emergency services in Sault Ste Marie will be pumping gas and selling LifeSaver Lollipops today to help The Kidney Foundation promote organ and tissue donations.
Today from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. members of the police, fire, and ambulance service as well as members from the Kidney Foundation will gather at Trunk Road Esso in Sault Ste Marie to pump gas and sell LifeSaver lollipops for the Kidney Foundation.
Throughout October the Kidney Foundation is working with Imperial Oil and Kraft Canada (the maker of Lifesavers Lollipops ) to raise awareness about the need for more organ and tissue donors. Esso retailers will be selling LifeSaver Lollipops with a portion of the sales being donated to the Kidney Foundation.
Drop around to the Trunk Road Esso today from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. and have a member of your community’s “lifesavers” pump your gas and sell you a “LifeSaver Lollipop” in support of the Kidney Foundation.
