Oxford OPP seeking public’s help in locating missing couple – possible domestic abduction

(Ingersoll, Ont.) - The Oxford OPP were called to attend a residence on Victoria Street in Ingersoll shortly after 6 a.m. this morning. Investigation has revealed a suspicious domestic situation and possible abduction of an adult female.

OPP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two missing persons, as there is concern over their well being. They are believed to be together in a Grey 2005 Dodge Neon CSX Licence AWDW 265. There is the potential for a weapon to be involved and we are asking the public not to approach the vehicle but to notify OPP immediately if the vehicle is located. There is some indication that the vehicle could be headed towards Northern Ontario.

Missing Persons:

Edward Schott, 29, described as white male approximately 5’10”tall, 145 lbs, slight build with moustache and brown eyes.

Sandra Schott, 32, described as white female approximately 5’8”tall, 120lbs thin build with blonde wavy hair with red highlights and blue/green eyes.

OPP are asking anyone with information on this investigation or knows the whereabouts of the vehicle to contact police immediately by calling 1-888-310-TIPS or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-421-TIPS.


Theft of IPOD

(Desbarats, Ontario) On Wednesday October 26, 2005 the East Algoma Thessalon OPP were advised of a theft that had occurred on October 18, 2005 at Central Algoma Secondary School.

A black Ipod Nano valued at $350.00 was taken from a desk of a student while attending classes at the high school.
