MINOR INJURIES IN GOULAIS RIVER ROLLOVER
Goulais River, Ont.,

One person received minor injuries yesterday in a single vehicle rollover collision on Hwy 17 Near Havilland Shores Drive.

At about 3:00 p.m. the vehicle pulled over onto the shoulder of the roadway to let a faster vehicle pass. The slower driver lost control of the vehicle, went into the ditch and rolled over. The driver suffered minor injuries but did not require hospitalization. No charges were laid in this incident.


CAR ALARM WORKS TWICE
Heyden, Ont.,

A resident in the 700 area of Hwy 556 in Heyden found out that his car alarm did serve its purpose.

Last night at about midnight the homeowner called police after his car alarm was activated. The night before the same thing happened but on that night the homeowner saw a male and a female running away from his residence Further inspection of the area revealed that someone tried to enter both the house and the car.

A search of the area was conducted but no one was found nearby.
