Ski Hill Clubhouse Break-in

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) - On Wednesday November 3, police were alerted to a male stumbling around and bleeding from the hands on the road leading to the ski hill.

Officers from the Elliot Lake office attended and heard the activated alarm at the ski building.

The officers saw a man running from the building and fleeing up the hill.

Officers pursued on foot and apprehended a male.

Further investigation found that the window to the building had been smashed and some items taken from the bar area.

Police have charged 28-year-old Robert Young of Hillside Drive in Elliot Lake with break enter and theft and breach of probation.

Young was held in custody and will be in Sault Ste. Marie today for a bail hearing.
