HWY 17 NORTH RE-OPENED Agawa Bay, Ont, Wawa OPP re-opened Hwy 17, at the scene of today's fatal collision, at about 6:00 p.m. tonight. One lane of the Hwy was opened to allow for traffic flow in both directions.

Wawa OPP re-opened Hwy 17, at the scene of today's fatal collision, at about 6:00 p.m. tonight.

One lane of the Hwy was opened to allow for traffic flow in both directions.

Motorists traveling that area should expect delays at the scene as OPP continue their scene examination.

One person was killed in the collision and two others were seriously injured.

One of the injured was transported to Sault Area Hospital by air ambulance helicopter and remains in critical condition.

The other person has been admitted to Lady Dunn Hospital in Wawa in unknown condition.

OPP expect the highway to be cleared and both lanes re-opened sometime before midnight.

The identity of the deceased Is expected to be released by the Wawa OPP detachment sometime tomorrow morning.
