On May 24th, 2005, Espanola OPP were called after a male was reported missing in Kriwoy Lake in Lockeyer Township, approximately 52 kilometers north of Massey. Yesterday, the OPP Under Water Search and Recovery Unit attended the area and recovered the body of Roland HALBERT, age 72, of Perrysburg, Ohio, USA. HALBERT had been fishing with a friend when their boat capsized. Mr. HALBERT failed to swim to shore.
