Another Deer Hit Echo Bay, Ont., Sault OPP were called to Hwy 638 north of Echo Bay last night when another deer was killed after it was struck by a car. At about 10:00 p.m.

Echo Bay, Ont., Sault OPP were called to Hwy 638 north of Echo Bay last night when another deer was killed after it was struck by a car.

At about 10:00 p.m. last night a car was traveling west on Hwy 638 when the deer ran out in front of the car. The operator of the vehicle was able to drive away from the scene. No tow truck was needed.

OPP would like to remind everyone to keep a close watch for animals of all sizes at this time of the year. Slow down at night and especially in areas where you know that deer, or other wildlife, are know to be crossing the roadway.
