TELEPHONE CALLS ENDS IN THREATING CHARGES
Heyden, Ont.,

A Heyden man is in police custody and will appear in bail court this afternoon after threatening his wife.

The couple had just recently re-united and were living at a home in Heyden. Last night the husband left the house and was at a licenced establishment having several libations. His wife called the hotel several times and requested that he come home. Eventually the husband threatened his wife?s life and she called the police.

Members of Sault Ste Marie O.P.P. arrested the man for threatening and breach of probation. The forty-six-year-old man will appear in bail court this afternoon to answer to the charges.

This investigation is still ongoing. Since both parties are on court orders not to harass or annoy each other, Sault Ste Marie O.P.P. has not ruled out charges against the woman for breaching her court order.
