A Searchmont resident call the Sault Ste Marie OPP yesterday to report that someone had stolen the stereo out of his car.

Sometime in the past four days thieves went onto the man’s property, entered his vehicle and stole the stereo. The house is located on Hwy 556 in the Searchmont area and there are no other houses nearby.
