Attempted Break and Enter

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) On June 15, 2005 at approximately 10:12 p.m. police responded to an alarm on Newfoundland Walk.

Investigation revealed that unknown culprit(s) attempted to gain access to the business “The Source” formerly Radio Shack with negative results.

Investigation continuing.

Rental Home Cleaned Out

Heyden, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to a home on Hwy 17 in Heyden after the landlord discovered that ex-tenants took more than memories from his rental home.

At about 8:00 p.m. last night officers attended a home on Hwy 17 and discovered that tenants had moved out of the house and took furniture and window coverings that belonged to the owner. Night stands, drapes, a computer desk and chair are some of the items that were taken by the ex-tenant.

This investigation is ongoing.

Vehicle rolls Into Propane Tank

Heyden, Ont., Officers were called to another Heyden home last night after a vehicle rolled into a propane tank

Last night at about 10:00 p.m. a man on Heyden Lake Road was working on a vehicle on his property when the vehicle started to roll away. The vehicle rolled across the roadway and bumped into a neighbours propane tank. There was no damage to the tank and no propane leak. The vehicle was pushed back onto the respective owners property.
