ANOTHER IMPAIRED DRIVER OFF THE ROAD

Goulais River, Ont.,

A Sault Ste Marie man now faces drinking and driving charges after being stopped by the police in Goulais River last night.

At about 11:00 p.m. last night officers with the Sault Ste Marie Detachment stopped a vehicle on Goulais Mission Road in Goulais River. The officer saw signs that the man had been drinking and a roadside breath test was conducted. The man failed the roadside test and he was returned to the city for a Breathalyzer test.

The Breathalyzer tests indicated that the man was over the legal limit to be driving.
Thirty eight year old Patrice GREGOIRE (male) of Queen Street West in Sault Ste Marie has been charged with Driving While Over the Legal Limit. He was issued a 90 day drivers licence suspension and he is being held in police custody for a bail court appearance this morning.
