The Games People Play

Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating an incident where a guest in the Pancake Bay area damaged a rental property.

Yesterday afternoon police were called to a motel in the Pancake Bay area after the owner of the motel discovered the damage. It appears that a person from the east coast of Canada rented a cabin at the motel. Prior to leaving the cabin the occupant emptied the fire extinguisher inside the cabin. There were no obvious signs of any fire in the interior of the rented cabin.

Wind Or Vandalism

OPP in Sault Ste Marie were called to a seasonal home in Goulais River after a section of fence was found damaged.

The owner of the property reported to police that about three weeks ago he put up about 250 feet of cedar fence along a property line. Yesterday he attended the area and found that about 160 feet of the fence was damaged and laying on the ground. Police are attempting to determine if high winds this past week caused the damaged or if a very industrious criminal is responsible for the damaged fence
