Man Arrested Near Batchewana Gas Bar Early this morning the Batchewana First Nation Police arrested a Sault Ste Marie man in the vicinity of a local business. This morning at about 2:00 a.m.

Early this morning the Batchewana First Nation Police arrested a Sault Ste Marie man in the vicinity of a local business.

This morning at about 2:00 a.m. an officer with the Batchewana First Nation Police, accompanied by a member of the Anishinabek Police Service, checked a suspicious vehicle on Frontenac Street in the area of a local gas bar.

After questioning the driver, a search of the vehicle was conducted and police seized several tools from the interior of the car. As a result of this investigation a thirty two year old Sault Ste Marie man remains in police custody this morning.

Upon completion of the appropriate paper work, the man is expected to be charged with Possession of House Breaking Tools contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
