FATAL WAWA ACCIDENT CLOSES HIGHWAY LANE A single vehicle rollover accident 25 miles south of Wawa has closed one lane of Highway 17. The accident, which occurred at 6:15 this morning, has resulted in one death and 3 injuries. O.P.P.

FATAL WAWA ACCIDENT CLOSES HIGHWAY LANE
A single vehicle rollover accident 25 miles south of Wawa has closed one lane of Highway 17. The accident, which occurred at 6:15 this morning, has resulted in one death and 3 injuries.

O.P.P. advise that delays should be expected when travelling through the area. Police are still on the scene and details will be posted here as they are released.


DRUG BUST
In a raid at Goulais River, O.P.P. officers along with the Joint Forces Drug Unit discovered $24,000 worth of Cannabis Resin along with a firearm not stored safely. Charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, unsafe storage of a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm are Gordon Burch, age 47 and Cathy Elkas, age 38.
