DOUBLE FATALITY There was a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle today on Highway 17 about 80 kilometres north of the Sault. The driver and passenger on the motorcycle died at the scene.

DOUBLE FATALITY
There was a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle today on Highway 17 about 80 kilometres north of the Sault. The driver and passenger on the motorcycle died at the scene. The accident occurred at 2:54 this afternoon.

The highway had been closed for several hours but is now open and traffic is flowing. The Sault Detachment of the O.P.P. is investigating and will have further details at 7:30am tomorrow (Fri). The identities of the victims will be withheld until next of kin have been notified.

BREAK-IN
A break-in occurred overnight yesterday at Rolly's Restaurant at Pancake Bay. Entry was gained via the south entrance door that was pried open. The staff discovered the break-in yesterday morning. Stolen were a quantity of cigarettes, vodka coolers, and about $400 cash was taken from two cash register floats. The money was primarily rolled loonies and other change.
