Vandals In Heyden

Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to three homes yesterday in the Trout Lake Road area of Heyden after door locks and equipment around the homes were found intentionally damaged.

It appears that someone had intentionally jammed the door locks on three homes as well as tampered with telephone equipment on the exterior of one of the houses. A street light in the same area was also discovered to be damaged.

It doesn’t appear that the culprits were intent on gaining entry to the homes, but instead it appears to be a yet another example of mindless acts of vandalism on unsuspecting victims.
