SUSPECT SOUGHT AFTER ASSUALT ON WOMAN
Goulais River, Ont.,
A Goulais River woman fled her house last night after being assaulted by a man in the same house.
At about 10:00 p.m., the woman arrived at the house with her two children. After being home for a short time she was assaulted several times by a man who lives in the same house with her. The woman and her two children fled and called the police.
Senior Constable, Bill Mackan, advises that a 41-year-old male suspect will face several charges of assault when he is apprehended.
The woman had several visible injuries to her neck and arms but did not require immediate medical assistance.
