On Oct. 18, 2017, members from the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were on patrol duties in the Town of Thessalon.
Shortly before 4 p.m., police observed a southbound vehicle on Main Street in the Town of Thessalon and initiated a traffic stop. Investigation determined the driver was suspended.
As a result of the investigation, Travis Clark, 27 years of age from Echo Bay, Ont. was charged with driving while under suspension, contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sault Ste. Marie on Dec. 6, 2017.
