FIRE IN IRON BRIDGE
Early this morning, a fire completely destroyd a home in Iron Bridge. O.P.P. officers say the building was burned right to the ground. There were no injuries and arson is not suspected at this time. There are no further details as police officers are still on the scene.

HIGHWAY 17 CLOSED AT WAWA LAST NIGHT
Highway 17 North, about 30 kilometers north of Wawa, was closed yesterday evening at 8:25 due to potholes. O.P.P. officers cannot remember the last time a highway was closed due to potholes. Both lanes were affected and traffic backed up a considerable distance.

A construction company was called in. The road was repaired and reopened at 1:25 this morning. Traffic is now flowing smoothly in the area.
