FATAL ACCIDENT AT IRON BRIDGE
An Ohio resident returning from a summer home on Manitoulin Island was killed in a vehicle accident shortly after 4:00 p.m. Friday.

A mini van driven by 70-year-old Donald Grimm of Toledo, Ohio, was westbound on Highway 17 when, for an unknown reason, he crossed the centre line into tie path of an eastbound van and trailer driven by a 28-year-old Kitchener resident, Craig Schindler.

The eastbound vehicle went into the ditch where it stopped and the Grimm vehicle stopped against the guardrail in the eastbound lane. The Bruce Mines Fire Department was called to the scene to extricate Mr. Grimm from his vehicle. Grimm was pronounced dead at the scene. Schindler and two passengers were not injured.

QUIET NIGHT
The O.P.P. had a very busy night in other parts of Northern Ontario, however, the Sault detachment has had a very quiet twenty-four hours and has nothing to report.
