(North East Region, ON) – Members from the OPP Detachment in Thessalon have closed Highway 129 from the Junction at Highway 17 to the Town of Chapleau due to weather conditions.

Winter Wonderland!

(North East Region, ON) – Members from detachments throughout the Northeast Region responded to a total of 13 collisions last evening, three of which resulted in personal injury.

If at all possible, it is recommended that Highway travel be minimized until the weather conditions improve and plows have had an opportunity to clear the roads for safe travel.
