HIGHWAYS RE-OPENED The OPP (White River) would like to advise that Highway 17 between White River and Marathon was re-opened shortly after 2:00 p.m. today. The highway had been closed since early this morning due to weather and ice conditions.

The OPP (White River) would like to advise that Highway 17 between White River and Marathon was re-opened shortly after 2:00 p.m. today. The highway had been closed since early this morning due to weather and ice conditions. Travellers driving from Sault Ste. Marie to Thunder Bay will experience poor driving conditions in that area.

Police also report Highway 631 north and south of Hornpayne was re-opened at 2:35 this afternoon.
