Police have laid a charge regarding the accident that took the lives of two Michigan Residents. Pronounced dead at the scene were the driver, David Harrison, age 59, and the passenger, his wife, Wanda Harrison, age 56, of Clarkston, Michigan.

The fatal accident happened Thursday at 2:50 p.m. on Highway 17 approximately 80 kilometres north of Sault Ste. Marie.

A southbound Harley Davidson motorcycle struck a northbound Honda CRV as it was making a turn from the highway onto a private road. The driver of the Honda CRV, William James Duff of Etobicoke, Ontario, has been charged with an improper turn under the Highway Traffic Act and is to appear in provincial Offences Court on September 25th.
