SHAWANAGA TOWNSHIP, ON - At approximately 4 p.m. earlier this evening (Tuesday), members from the West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle crash on Highway 69 in Shawanaga Township, Ontario.
The crash involved a passenger vehicle and a tractor trailer.
There are multiple deceased as a result of the crash. Highway 69 was closed at 4 p.m. but is re-opened shortly before midnight.
A detour is available via Highway 522 and Highway 124.
Assisting with the investigation are two OPP Collision Reconstructionists.
The crash is still under investigation.
