FIGHT AT SCHOOL NETS ASSAULT CHARGES
On Wednesday, at 12:00 noon, the East Algoma O.P.P. was called to the Central Algoma Secondary School in Desbarats regarding a fight on school property.

The male victim age 14, sustained head injuries including a swollen nose and lip, bruises and cuts to his left ear.

As a result, one 16-year-old male young offender has been charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm under the criminal code. The accused was arrested and released on a promise to appear in Thessalon court on December 5th.
