TWO TEENS CHARGED IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS
Sault Ste. Marie

Early this morning, a Sault O.P.P. officer stopped an erratic driver. The male teenager, a G2 licence holder, had been drinking and registered a "warn" on the roadside screening. He was issued a 12-hour suspension as well as several provincial offences tickets.

A second O.P.P. unit responded to the same call and assisted by driving the occupants of the vehicle home. While returning to the detachment office, the officers observed a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road.

This teenage male, also a G2 licence holder, had also been drinking. He registered a "warn" on the roadside screening. He was served a 12-hour suspension and was given a ticket.

The male advised police that he had been trying to scare his girlfriend who was suffering from a case of the hiccups.

The O.P.P. reminds G1 and G2 licence holders that you must have ZERO blood alcohol if you are going to drive.
