The Sault O.P.P. detachment is investigating an incident that happened on Church Street in Echo Bay yesterday at 11:20 a.m. A group of young children was approached by 2 males in a burgundy full-size Dodge van.
The Sault O.P.P. detachment is investigating an incident that happened on Church Street in Echo Bay yesterday at 11:20 a.m. A group of young children was approached by 2 males in a burgundy full-size Dodge van. They were trying to get the children to assist them to look for a lost dog. The children were wise enough not to be fooled by the strangers and went to their parents who called police.

The van is described as an older, burgundy, construction-style Dodge with Firestone tires. It may have had black striping that was hard to see because the van was very dirty. It also had a rust spot on the left rear bumper.

The driver is described as being a male, approximately 50 years old, heavy-set with dark hair and a thin Goatee. He was wearing a black baseball cap with red and yellow writing on it. He was also wearing a red shirt and dirty blue jeans.

The passenger was also a male, 40 - 50 years old, balding on top with his hair pulled back into a ponytail. He was wearing mirrored sunglasses with
