MAN INJURED WHILE WORKING ON TRUCK (Bruce Mines) Yesterday at 4:30 p.m., a man was pinned under his truck while working on it. Edwin Wonch, age 46, of Bruce Mines was working on the gas tank while it was parked on a grassy area.

Yesterday at 4:30 p.m., a man was pinned under his truck while working on it. Edwin Wonch, age 46, of Bruce Mines was working on the gas tank while it was parked on a grassy area. The key was turned in the ignition causing the truck to lurch forward, pinning Wonch face down under the rear driver's side tire.

He was taken to Thessalon Hospital and then transferred to the ICU Unit at the Sault Area Hospitals. Wonch suffered 7 broken ribs in the accident.
