Goulais River
Sault O.P.P. is investigating four break and enters over the weekend in the Goulais area.
Yesterday at 6:00 a.m., employees of the Timberland General Store in Goulais River arrived to find the store had been forcibly entered overnight. Thieves took a variety of merchandise.
As the investigation progressed during the day, police received a call from a citizen in Heyden. It was reported that what appeared to be items from the Goulais break-in were in the bush area on Cameron Road. Police matched the items to the break-in. The investigation is continuing.
HARMONY BEACH BREAK-IN
Thieves entered seasonal homes and outbuildings at three locations on Harmony Beach Road over the weekend. The O.P.P. was called after a neighbour noticed an open door at one of the cottages. Police are still investigating.
