LOTTERY TICKETS STOLEN On October 12, police were called to The Stop Market located on Highway 17 at Hayden where $1,100 worth of lottery tickets had been stolen. The persons suspected of the theft were later arrested in Marathon by the O.P.P.
LOTTERY TICKETS STOLEN
On October 12, police were called to The Stop Market located on Highway 17 at Hayden where $1,100 worth of lottery tickets had been stolen. The persons suspected of the theft were later arrested in Marathon by the O.P.P. An investigation has revealed that the persons arrested may be responsible for other lottery thefts throughout the Algoma District during the past month. Charged are Julie Foster, 40, Jay King, 23, Norman Beaver, 23, and Denny Foster, 24. All are from the Hamilton area. They face charges of possession of stolen property and theft under $5,000 and are awaiting a bail hearing.

BREAK AND ENTER
The Sault Ste. Marie detachment is also investigating a break and enter and theft at the Pancake Provincial Park warehouse. A total of $230 in items was stolen over the weekend.
