Stolen Vehicle Found At Havilland

Goulais River, Ont., OPP are investigating a recovered stolen car in the Goulais River area over the weekend.

On Sunday morning a citizen in the area called police to report that the 1997 Chevy Caviller had been left at a roadside park on Havilland Shores Drive for the past two days. A check of the licence plate indicated that the car was stolen from the Parry Sound area on 25 May 2005. The vehicle was towed to the OPP station for a forensic examination.

A resident of Searchmont was walking the bush area of the village when he came across the sign. Sometime between last Thursday and this Sunday the sign appeared in the bush area within the village of Searchmont. Want your sign—call the Sault OPP.
