13-Yr Old Male Charged After Knife Incident

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) On February 24, 2006 police attended a local elementary school after receiving a complaint of a student bringing a knife to school. Upon arrival, police learned that the suspect had threatened fellow students with the knife.

Charged with 3 counts of Assault with A Weapon is a 13-year-old male. The name of the accused will not be released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The 13-year old male remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a Bail Hearing on February 27, 2006.

Theft At Local Drug Store

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) Police attended a local drug store on February 25, 2006 in regards to a complaint of theft.

Charged with Theft Under is Linda REID (57) of Elliot Lake. REID is scheduled to appear in court March 4th, 2006.
