Mother Nature has been cooperating fully this year so that the area ski resorts can open in time for the Holiday season. Unfortunately human nature is also cooperating fully in an attempt to spoil some of our skier's pastime at our area attractions.

Sault Ste Marie OPP is starting to receive reports of stolen skis and snowboards from the area ski resorts. Skiers and boarders are reminded that not everyone at your resort is there for a day of sunshine, exercise and enjoyment.

Once again there is that small percentage of people who could care less about you and your property. Thieves, once again, are stalking the ski resorts and taking skis and snowboards that are left outside while people warm up in the lodges and chalets.
