On Feb. 4, 2018, members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located and spoke to the missing female.

On Jan. 2, 2018, members of the OPP responded to a report of a missing female from the Elliot Lake, Ont. area. Samantha Rose Dunlop, a 28-year-old female, had not been heard from since Jan. 19, 2018. She is described as white, approximately 5' 4" tall, weighing 110 pounds, long brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen she was wearing a black bomber style jacket. Information received that she may have travelled to Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. with a friend and would be returning to Elliot Lake but did not give a date and time.

The OPP would like to thank the public for assisting with this matter.
