Break and Enter Heyden Adventure Base Camp

Sometime between August 29th and September 7th a garage was entered at the Heyden Adventure Base Camp located at the old Heyden Ski Hill. Stolen was a 1992 Honda ATV a Porter Cable generator and several mountain bikes.

Failure to Pay for Gas leads to Arrest

A vehicle drove off failing to pay for $25.00 worth of gas at the Pit Stop Gas Bar in Echo Bay Thursday afternoon at 5:20 p.m. The vehicle a 1978 Mercury Zepher was located a short time later at the Shady Rest Motel in Sault Ste Marie. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Port Perry resident. Charge with Possession of Stolen property under $5000.00 and theft under $5000.00 is Uxbridge Ontario resident Thomas Panoulias age 32 ( 27 July 1974). Panoulias will appear in Bail court in Sault Ste Marie today.
