Sault Ste. Marie OPP were called to a Heyden residence after the several youths were caught throwing eggs at the house.

At about 11:00 last night a homeowner on Jody Lane in Heyden had his house “egged” by several youths. The youths were caught and held by the homeowner until police arrived.

A decision was made by the police and victim that no charges of mischief would be laid in this incident. The youths were taken home to their respective parents.


NEW PINSHORES ROAD BRINGS OUT OLD PROBLEMS

Now that the new section of Pineshores Road in Goulais River has been rebuilt and re-opened, the citizens on that section have complained of some old problems arising from the new roadway.

OPP have received several reports of speeders traveling far in excess of the speed limit on the new roadway. OPP will increase the radar patrols in that area in an effort to educated the public of the dangers of speeding.
