Members of the Joint Forces Drug Unit and the Sault O.P.P. discovered about $55,000 worth of drugs and weapons in a Goulais River raid yesterday afternoon.

The home, in the 3900 block of Highway 17 in Goulais River, was found to contain fifty-two fully-grown marijuana plants and a mini crossbow, which is a prohibited weapon in Canada. The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending against the owners of the home.
