Heyden, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP will seek a warrant for a Sault Ste Marie man after a confrontation with his estranged spouse.

Yesterday at about 4:30 p.m. a woman arrived at her Heyden home to find her estranged husband waiting nearby in his car. He has an existing court order that prevents him from any communication with her. A verbal confrontation took place and police were called to the scene.

The man fled the area prior to police arrival. As a result of this incident Sault OPP will try to get a warrant for the arrest of a fifty five year old Sault Ste Marie man. He will face several domestic related charges under the Criminal Code. No one was injured in this incident.

WHY DID THE CHICKEN CROSS THE ROAD ???

Echo Bay, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to Hwy 17 just outside of Echo Bay yesterday morning after receiving a report of cow on the highway.

Officers patrolled Hwy 17 in the area of the farms that border on the highway but it appears the bovine preferred the solitude of farm as oppose to the open highway. So why did the chicken cross the road??—to warn the cow the police were coming.
